Orphaned
by a tragic accident, James must escape his wicked aunts. With a bit
of magic, a giant peach, and some insect friends he goes on an epic journey
to find a new life.

Former CHTC performer
Kristofer Harding will reprise his role as RUSTY
in a
UK
tour of
STARLIGHT EXPRESS starting at Wimbledon in May 2012
and running to Feb. 2013. Arlene Phillips is also returning to the show
as director and choreographer.
Natalie Hyde Successes: Our former CHTC young star
Natalie was a professional chorus member with
Birmingham Opera Company for their World Premier
Production of Jonathan Dove's Life's A Dream in March
2012. Natalie recently performed to great acclaim
as guest soprano soloist with The Leamington Spa Bach Choir. On
Good Friday she sang live on Radio 3 as part of an NYC Octet and on
Easter Monday at The Royal Albert Hall with the National
Youth Choir of Great Britain. She has a HADCAF concert at the
Croft Hall on Tue 10 July.
ANYTHING
GOES: Paul Hyde, Simon Pembroke
and Shaun Blake
all performed recently at Newbury Corn Exchange in the classic Cole Porter musical
Anything Goes. The show ran 11-14 April 2012 and gave
audiences a great night out with brilliant singing, acting and dancing
which had them humming the tunes long after the final curtain.

SHOWTIME
CHEMISTRY: Paul Hyde and Ros Kitson appeared recently
week with Nomads Musical Theatre in "Showtime Chemistry" performed at
New Greenham Arts, 22-24
March 2012.
This was a fantastic blend of madcap humour, rich drama,
and ripping dance all framed within a collection of show-stopping songs
including hits from Moulin Rouge, Young Frankenstein and Avenue Q! Also contained
Zombies!

West End Debut for George Olney:
George, our former CHTC young star hit the west end stage
performing in the chorus at a charity gala performance of the fabulous
musical Children of Eden on Sunday 29 Jan 2012. A
full report is expected soon!
Natalie Hyde Successes: Our former CHTC young star
Natalie is in her final undergraduate year at Birmingham Conservatoire
where she is studying to be a singer. She has
just earned a place on the sought-after post-graduate Vocal Studies course at
The Guildhall in London. This post-graduate study is the next
step towards achieving Natalie's ambition of becoming a successful Opera Singer.
Natalie
recently featured in Newbury Weekly News
and performed to great acclaim
as soprano soloist with the Basingstoke Hospital Orpheus Male Voice
choir at the United Reform Church in Newbury on Saturday 15 October. Proceeds
of the concert went to West Berkshire branch of
Alzheimer's Society. (Click thumbnail
