Help us find £10,000 at the end of the rainbow!

Rainbow Project Logo

After another successful year as an amateur Company of no fixed abode, there continues to be a great deal of wear and tear on our equipment (and people) as we move from venue to venue in Hungerford. We continue to support four active groups. We make very little profit from our productions.

Our Rainbow Project intends to raise at least £10,000 to spend on maintaining, refurbishing, and purchasing stage equipment and costumes. Our scenery flats need re-canvassing, we need secure accommodation for our many costume sets, and additional lighting equipment will help reduce our hire and transport costs for productions.

We have received Grants and Donations towards the project so far of £2650, from the Englefield Trust, the Town and Manor of Hungerford and a private individual.

The total in July 2010 was £5277, over half way there!

Other sources have indicated that they may be able to help us, but we will need all the generous help we can get to reach our target in these hard times. Our fundraising team is fully committed to raising funds to help defray the increasing costs of the Town Show, (now about £12,000),  supported by the Town Council. In addition all Company members are working hard to raise a further £1500 from our anniversary draw for the project
