Robin Hood & FriendsThe 2009 Children’s Theatre production  was Robin Hood & Friends - A Musical by Debbie Campbell. Directed by Alison Horne.

A story of chivalry, rivalry,
love and friendship

In this action-packed musical, set in England during the Middle Ages, we relived the exciting adventures of Robin Hood and all his merry friends. Based on the well-known folk story, this fun musical explored the relationships between Robin Hood and his many friends and enemies. Swash-buckling scenes alternated with sensitive moments, and dungeon scenes contrasted with feasting and dancing.

The performances were `a great example of what can be achieved`, said David Clayton the company Chairman. ‘The choreography, sets and costumes were brought together into a highly entertaining show that was full of energy and talented youngsters singing, dancing and acting with confidence’

  • Main performances were at the John O'Gaunt Community Technical College on Saturday 27th June at 2:30 pm and 6:30pm - Click Here for Programme.
  • Special appearance at Cobbs Farm on Sunday 29th June at the St John's St Johns Ambulance Fun Day.
  • The planned Rotary Club performance on Friday 3rd July was cancelled.
