Love At Last  (2011)

This was the WORLD PREMIERE of a  new farce by popular author Raymond Hopkins

This successful production ran nightly from 30 June - 2 July 2011 at Herongate Leisure and sent the audiences home happy every evening. It was part of HADCAF 2011

As he has done in previous years, Raymond Hopkins, the author of the play, joined the audience on the Saturday night (Picture left shows him afterwards with the cast and Director).
Raymond was very happy with our production.  He revealed that it was, in fact, the World Premiere and praised the cast and director for drawing so much from the script to make it a successful and very funny performance. He donates his royalties to Multiple Sclerosis research and so far he has raised over £23,000.  We were again glad to be able to help such a good cause.

Frank and Rose Saunders have been married for fifty-two years, and are now living in a small retirement complex along with five other residents. On the day a young female care assistant starts working at the apartments, a spate of robberies ensue. Frank Saunders takes it upon himself to prove that the new girl is the thief. However all is not what it seems. The twist and turns which follow add up to an hilarious evenings entertainment.
