THE TOWN SHOW - HOME PAGE

The annual Town Show, the original theatrical activity, is performed each year during February, to coincide with the school half-term. The Town Show is open to participation by anyone resident in Hungerford and the surrounding area. There are no auditions required to be part of the chorus but solo singing or speaking roles are always cast following auditions.

The 2008 Town Show success was Lionel Bart's Blitz! performed at the
John O` Gaunt Community Technical College between Feb 20th and 23rd 2008.

Cast rehearsals generally start each year in mid September and run through to the production week in February with a short break for Christmas.

• Juniors (ages 8 to 13 years) at 7:30 pm to 8:45pm and

• Youths and adults from 8pm to 10pm.

Once the auditions are completed and the main roles are cast, Principal characters often rehearse on Friday Evenings.  Additional rehearsals, e.g. dance / choreography, may also be held on other nights.  Rehearsal Schedules are published as required.
