Flower Drum Song ProgrammeFlower Drum Song - Music by Richard Rodgers.  Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II.   Book by Oscar Hammerstein II and Joseph Fields. Based on the novel by C.Y.Lee.

"Hungerford's production had vivid, colourful costumes, a chorus of lively children who silently waited for their entrances and clever manipulation in the first act which had a flower boat drifting in front of Chinese strolling figures. Many months of rehearsing with director David Clayton to bring Chinatown in San Francisco to Hungerford resulted in a lively, entertaining evening. "
